24 Weeks: Viability

This week has been a YOUGE milestone and I don't have much to say. I know, right?

Hitting 24 weeks has been really good for the psychotic/crazy-ass side of me that that can't stop being utterly terrified of losing this baby. Also, I still can't believe I really made it this far.

The belly has grown a bit I'd say. I'll stare at myself in the mirror a lot periodically and still am in shock that this belly really belongs to me.

Symptom-wise.... there hasn't been that much going on, which is great. The evenings seem to be getting a bit more difficult with bloating and my inevitable huffing and puffing that follows as I try to get my "exercise" in which consists of me panting a lot trying to waddle around the neighborhood. "Just wait," everyone says, "It'll just get worse!" But other than that, I still occasionally dry heave, usually around a garbage. Which is totally not that big a deal anymore and is actually an embraced part of life now.

We did get some maternity pictures done. I know it's still early, but my childhood friend was making a trip back from California and she is sexy with a camera and offered to do a session and I thought, hey, why not?

This was my sneak peek that was put on Facebook this week. I am so excited to see the rest of them!

Oh, and I will leave you with the obligatory bump photo :)

  2. Yay for another milestone and a pretty big one at that!! Yep...the huffing and puffing just gets worse and I'm convinced it all has to do with what position the baby is in.
